In late October and early November, Shanghai hosted the meeting of the General Assembly of the International Software Qualification Board and the fifth World Congress for Software Quality. Miratech Quality and Processes Director Alexander Tarasenko, who is also a chairman of the Ukrainian Software Quality Board, represented the company at these events.
By the end of 2011 the number of ISTQB certified experts will reach 200 thousand persons from more than 70 countries. At the Assembly meeting in Shanghai, Yaron Tsubery, ISTQB president, offered new versions of the fundamental documents which were later approved by the ISTQB members. The new membership applications were also reviewed at the meeting.
The 5th World Congress for Software Quality (5WCSQ) featured reports on the latest trends in software quality, such as Cloud Computing and Software Quality Body of Knowledge. Alexander Tarasenko participated in the congress as a Program Committee member.
The Ukrainian Software Quality Board headed by Alexander Tarasenko plans to conduct an international software testing quality conference in Kyiv in March 2012. The conference will attract such prominent participants as ISTQB president and heads of the national branches as well as 5WCSQ keynote speakers.
